The Bosch GPU 18V 2 DI and GDI 38-500 form a compact, cordless concrete consolidation system designed for reinforced concrete applications where manoeuvrability and access between dense rebar are essential. Combining Bosch's battery-powered drive technology with a high-frequency vibrator head, this modular system delivers professional compaction performance without the need for generators, frequency converters, or trailing power cables.

The GPU18V2DI is a professional cordless drive unit powered by two Bosch Professional 18V batteries. Engineered for demanding concrete consolidation work, it delivers reliable performance without the restrictions of mains-powered equipment. The robust design features a sealed battery compartment, haptic feedback for battery status monitoring, and compatibility with Bosch's range of GDI vibrator heads, allowing users to adapt the system to different concrete placement requirements.

The GDI 38-500 features a 38 mm hardened steel vibrator head with an integrated motor and a 5 m flexible whip. Delivering up to 11,600 vibrations per minute without load and approximately 10,600 vibrations per minute under load, it efficiently removes trapped air from freshly poured concrete to improve strength, density, and surface finish. 

The smaller 38 mm head is particularly suited to working around tightly spaced reinforcement and confined formwork. Its IP67-rated construction and thermal protection ensure durability in harsh construction environments.
